The oval is the shape that flatters every hand.
Held lengthwise across the finger, it lengthens. Held like a cabochon, it softens. The Lumière sets a brilliant cut oval into a tapered band, with a barely visible diamond bridge tucked under the stone. A small luxury only the wearer ever sees.
